Art students from the Nablus University, An-Najah National University and there professors visited Stavanger. They were invited to Stavanger by the Nablus Assosiation (Nablus forening) to the Stavanger kunstforening (Stavanger art association), to take over two of the exhibition rooms -the classical rooms.

About the painting in the Stavanger Kunstforening, the students  say that they let themselves be inspired by the palestinian poet  Ibrahem Tuquan. He wrote “Darkness must yield”, a poem that many palestinians identify with.”
